My fave thing so far I think. It’s a mix of sombre/melancholic/uplifting stuff but it’s all quite nice.

Part one of a twin set of compilations with a whole loada Funk/Disco/FullOnGroove.
If this don’t have you bobbing your head I suggest retreating to a remote corner of the Himilayas and take some time rediscovering your soul.

Couple of weeks back I made a playlist of tracks I listened to during the lil indian summer we had for them times when it gets cold and grey.
It’s cold and grey.
TM Juke - Knee Deep (Feat. Alice Russel % Jim Ozbarough)
Miles Davis…
I think sometimes we’re afraid we’ll look stupid going to a yoga class for the first time or trying out a new, challenging pose (or even off the mat … like going up to a person and initiating a conversation).
Be wise in your pursuits but find that balance with trying new stuff out and potentially “looking stupid”.

From my good, dear & trusted friend Debbie Reeds:
This phrase resonated with me as I read Mike Dooley’s latest book. (Googling it I’m not sure who to attribute it to!) There is a
growing body of knowledge about happiness and the correlations we think should exist between external circumstances, such as
wealth, and happiness are not there. What does effect our happiness are our attitudes and beliefs. We all have experiences that
impact on us- it’s how we view those experiences and react to them that makes a difference to our happiness.
Knowing happiness is an inside job, our job, what job could be more important and what are our responsibilities? Here are some
ideas for our happiness job description…
1. To notice the things that inspire you and help you to feel good and to do more of them.
2. To notice the things you find tedious and temp you to feel bad and do less of them. If this is not possible, to find something
to like about them and change your approach to them.
3. To live with integrity, facing up to any mistakes and dealing with problems promptly.
4. To train our minds to think positive thoughts, using affirmations, negative thought fasts, meditation etc. To experiment until
we find the methods that work best for us.
5. To notice negative thoughts, to find practical solutions to these problems and let go of the rest. (see 4)
6. To challenge beliefs that don’t serve us or contribute to our happiness and replace them with ones that do.
7. To be on our own side and be supportive and nurturing to ourselves.
8. To reflect each day on how we are feeling and what we can do to be happier.
9. To associate with people we like and build our energy.
10. To promptly forgive anyone who has hurt us including yourself.
11. To invest time and energy in people, relationships, things and activities that are important to us.
12. To keep a bank of happy memories, dreams, complements, favourite things etc that you can use to bring ourselves back to
happiness at any time.
